Impact Odyssey 2.0: The Businesses of Tomorrow
Accelerate Prosperity are delighted to announce the regional premiere of “Impact Odyssey 2.0: The Businesses of Tomorrow (IO 2.0)”. The documentary series features pioneering startups and entrepreneurs from Central and South Asia supported by Accelerate Prosperity (AP). AP positioned as a regional entity has always supported startups intent on solving problems faced by the people. The positive reception of ‘Impact Odyssey I: Stories of Change,’ which featured impact narratives from Pakistan, inspired the creation of the sequel. The second season charts out impact beyond borders and profit indicators, spotlighting the transformative initiatives of forward-thinking businesses in Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, and Pakistan.
Addressing our planet’s most pressing problems – climate change, water scarcity, mental health pandemic, tech disparities – the businesses perfectly align with AP’s vision of a holistic and prosperous future. AP, an initiative of the Aga Khan Foundation and the Aga Khan Fund for Economic Development in Central and South Asia – and co-funded by the European Union, empowers emerging entrepreneurs with financial solutions and technical support to grow businesses, startups, and innovative ideas, fostering sustainable employment and community strength.

- Digital Transformations: Many of the businesses and organizations in Central and South Asia run on age-old traditional principles, making it hard for them to keep up with the modern age. Explore how digital innovations are revolutionizing local economies and reducing tech disparities.
- Technological innovation: Many of the technologies are made for region-specific needs and most of them are out of context and out of reach for the Central & South Asian population.
