Celebrating 40 years of the Madrasa Early Childhood Programme
The Madrasa Early Childhood Programme (MECP) in East Africa is celebrating a long and proud history of creating impact and partnerships with communities and allies in Early Childhood Development.
As MECP celebrates 40 years since it was established by local communities and the Aga Khan Foundation, this video provides a snap shot of its journey, development and impact; and what it aspires to achieve in the next 40 years.
"The [MECP] community doesn't leave you behind; even though you move forward, they are still with you no matter what."
Leila Suleiman – MECP alumnus
